Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Scenic Rim Regional Council in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,248 people or 12.0%)
  • Construction (2,064 people or 11.0%)
  • Education and Training (1,688 people or 9.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 6,000 people in total or 31.9% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Regional QLD employed 15.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.6% in Construction; and 8.7% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Scenic Rim Regional Council and Regional QLD were:
