Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Macquarie Park in 2021 compared to Ryde (Total) shows that 68.7% of the households owned at least one car, while 25.8% did not, compared with 85.3% and 10.6% respectively in Ryde (Total).
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 55.0% of the households owned one car; 12.5% owned two cars; and 1.2% owned three cars or more, compared with 48.7%; 26.9% and 9.7% respectively for Ryde (Total).
