Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in City of Rockingham in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (10,344 males or 31.4%)
  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (5,277 males or 16.0%)
  • Labourers (4,229 males or 12.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 19,850 males in total or 60.2% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Golden Bay employed 33.7% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 15.8% in Machinery Operators And Drivers; and 14.3% in Labourers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of the City of Rockingham and Golden Bay were:
