Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in the City of Rockingham in 2021 compared to Greater Perth shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 32.8% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 12.6% were one-parent families, compared with 32.0% and 10.3% respectively for Greater Perth.
