The size of the City of Rockingham's labour force needing assistance in 2021 was 756, of which 342 were employed part-time and 182 were full time workers.

Analysis of the employment status of people needing assistance (as a percentage of the labour force) in the City of Rockingham in 2021 compared to Greater Perth shows that there was a lower proportion in employment, and a higher proportion unemployed.
