Dominant groups

Analysis of the country of birth of the non-English speaking population in Rockhampton Regional Council in 2021 compared to the total population in Rockhampton Regional Council shows that there was a larger proportion of people born overseas.

Overall, 77.0% of the non-English speaking population was born overseas, compared with 9.9% for the total population in Rockhampton Regional Council.

The major differences between the countries of birth of the non-English speaking population in Rockhampton and the total population in Rockhampton Regional Council were:
