Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Park Avenue in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (387 people or 17.2%)
  • Retail Trade (258 people or 11.4%)
  • Construction (207 people or 9.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 852 people in total or 37.8% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Rockhampton employed 18.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.7% in Retail Trade; and 7.7% in Construction.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Park Avenue and Rockhampton were:
