Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Allenstown in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (272 people or 22.4%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (125 people or 10.3%)
  • Retail Trade (121 people or 10.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 518 people in total or 42.6% of the total employed resident population.
