Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Redland City in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (8,004 males or 20.6%)
  • Manufacturing (3,827 males or 9.9%)
  • Retail Trade (3,245 males or 8.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 15,076 males in total or 38.8% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Greater Brisbane employed 14.3% in Construction; 8.5% in Manufacturing; and 8.0% in Retail Trade.
