Dominant groups
In 2021, there were 4,094 people who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Randwick City, compared with 21,192 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the residents in Randwick City in 2021, compared to Greater Sydney, shows that 5.9% used public transport, while 29.3% used a private vehicle, compared with 5.6% and 36.9% respectively in Greater Sydney.
The major differences in persons between the method of travel to work of Randwick City and Greater Sydney were:
