Dominant groups

Analysis of the share of people in low income households attending educational institutions in the City of Playford in 2021 compared to Greater Adelaide shows that there was a higher proportion of people in low income households attending primary school, a higher proportion attending secondary school, and a lower proportion engaged in tertiary level education.

Overall, 15.4% of the population were attending primary school, 8.6% of people in low income households were attending secondary institutions, and 4.4% were learning at a tertiary level, compared with 9.1%, 6.5% and 6.9% respectively for Greater Adelaide.
