Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Eyre in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (109 people or 18.4%)
  • Manufacturing (65 people or 11.0%)
  • Retail Trade (61 people or 10.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 235 people in total or 39.8% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Playford employed 15.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.9% in Manufacturing; and 12.1% in Retail Trade.
