Dominant groups

Analysis of recent overseas arrivals of the City of Playford in 2021 compared to Greater Adelaide shows that there was a higher proportion of people in the younger age groups (under 15) and a similar proportion of people in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 24.5% of recent overseas arrivals were aged between 0 and 14, and 2.4% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 15.5% and 2.9% respectively for Greater Adelaide.
