Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Shire of Plantagenet in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (196 females or 18.5%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (173 females or 16.3%)
  • Education and Training (142 females or 13.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 511 females in total or 48.2% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Regional WA employed 20.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 5.7% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; and 14.5% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of the Shire of Plantagenet and Regional WA were:
