Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of the Shire of Plantagenet in 2021 compared to Regional WA shows that there was a lower proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 17.4% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 24.2% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 19.6% and 17.2% respectively for Regional WA.
