Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in UWA-QEII Precinct Plan in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Education and Training (564 people or 18.7%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (484 people or 16.1%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (388 people or 12.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,436 people in total or 47.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, East Perth (Langley-Waterbank) employed 5.1% in Education and Training; 12.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 12.3% in Accommodation and Food Services.
