Welcome to the City of Perth Community Profile

The City of Perth Estimated Resident Population for 2015 is 24,244, with a population density of 17.65 persons per hectare.

The City of Perth (July 2016 boundary) is bounded by the Town of Cambridge and the Town of Vincent in the north, the Swan River in the east and south, the City of Nedlands in the south-west, and the City of Subiaco in the north-west.

The City of Perth Community Profile provides demographic analysis for the City and its suburbs based on results from the 2011, 2006, 2001, 1996 and 1991 Censuses of Population and Housing. The profile is updated with population estimates when the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) releases new figures.
