Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in South Penrith in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (928 people or 16.6%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (927 people or 16.6%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (853 people or 15.3%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,708 people in total or 48.5% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Mount Vernon - Kemps Creek - Badgerys Creek employed 16.9% in Professionals; 17.0% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 14.6% in Technicians and Trades Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of South Penrith and Mount Vernon - Kemps Creek - Badgerys Creek were:
