Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in St Clair in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (911 males or 18.3%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (661 males or 13.3%)
  • Manufacturing (565 males or 11.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,137 males in total or 42.9% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Penrith City employed 19.3% in Construction; 10.7% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; and 10.2% in Manufacturing.
