Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Orchard Hills in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (175 people or 19.6%)
  • Retail Trade (86 people or 9.7%)
  • Education and Training (81 people or 9.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 342 people in total or 38.4% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Penrith City employed 12.0% in Construction; 10.0% in Retail Trade; and 8.0% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Orchard Hills and Penrith City were:
