Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Claremont Meadows in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (372 people or 13.8%)
  • Construction (280 people or 10.4%)
  • Retail Trade (257 people or 9.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 909 people in total or 33.8% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Penrith City employed 13.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.0% in Construction; and 10.0% in Retail Trade.
