Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Orchard Hills in 2021 compared to Penrith City shows that 94.2% of the households owned at least one car, while 1.7% did not, compared with 88.0% and 6.3% respectively in Penrith City.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 15.3% of the households owned one car; 28.5% owned two cars; and 50.3% owned three cars or more, compared with 32.2%; 34.9% and 20.9% respectively for Penrith City.
