Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in North Rocks in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (684 females or 34.9%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (428 females or 21.8%)
- Managers (248 females or 12.7%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,360 females in total or 69.4% of the employed female resident population.
In comparison, the City of Parramatta employed 36.0% in Professionals; 20.8% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 11.2% in Managers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of North Rocks and the City of Parramatta were:
- A larger percentage of females employed as Managers (12.7% compared to 11.2%)
- A larger percentage of females employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (21.8% compared to 20.8%)
- A smaller percentage of females employed as Professionals (34.9% compared to 36.0%)

The largest changes in the occupations of female residents between 2016 and 2021 in North Rocks were for those employed as:
