Dominant groups
In 2021, there were 18 females who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Sellicks Beach, compared with 428 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the female residents in Sellicks Beach in 2021, compared to the City of Onkaparinga, shows that 2.9% used public transport, while 68.3% used a private vehicle, compared with 4.3% and 67.1% respectively in the City of Onkaparinga.
The major differences in females between the method of travel to work of Sellicks Beach and the City of Onkaparinga were:
- A larger percentage of females who worked at home (12.6% compared to 10.2%)
- A larger percentage of females who travelled by car (as driver) (64.9% compared to 63.1%)
