Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Port Noarlunga in 2016 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (212 people or 17.0%)
  • Retail Trade (155 people or 12.4%)
  • Construction (122 people or 9.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 489 people in total or 39.3% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Onkaparinga employed 16.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.2% in Retail Trade; and 9.9% in Construction.
