Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in McLaren Flat in 2016 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (105 people or 13.2%)
  • Manufacturing (104 people or 13.1%)
  • Construction (83 people or 10.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 292 people in total or 36.8% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Onkaparinga employed 16.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.1% in Manufacturing; and 9.9% in Construction.
