Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Hills North District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (444 females or 25.5%)
  • Education and Training (228 females or 13.1%)
  • Retail Trade (195 females or 11.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 867 females in total or 49.7% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Onkaparinga employed 29.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.1% in Education and Training; and 12.6% in Retail Trade.
