Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Seaford in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (246 females or 27.4%)
  • Education and Training (123 females or 13.7%)
  • Retail Trade (116 females or 12.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 485 females in total or 53.9% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Onkaparinga employed 29.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.1% in Education and Training; and 12.6% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Seaford and the City of Onkaparinga were:
