Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Moana in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (259 females or 30.5%)
  • Education and Training (126 females or 14.9%)
  • Retail Trade (88 females or 10.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 473 females in total or 55.8% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Onkaparinga employed 29.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.1% in Education and Training; and 12.6% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Moana and the City of Onkaparinga were:
