Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Christies Beach in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (301 males or 22.3%)
  • Manufacturing (127 males or 9.4%)
  • Retail Trade (122 males or 9.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 550 males in total or 40.7% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Onkaparinga employed 19.1% in Construction; 10.4% in Manufacturing; and 9.4% in Retail Trade.

The major difference between the jobs held by the male population of Christies Beach and the City of Onkaparinga was:
