Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Hackham in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (368 people or 19.7%)
  • Retail Trade (245 people or 13.1%)
  • Construction (204 people or 10.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 817 people in total or 43.7% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Seaford employed 16.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.0% in Retail Trade; and 13.8% in Construction.
