Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Coromandel Valley in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (300 people or 18.3%)
  • Education and Training (221 people or 13.5%)
  • Public Administration and Safety (159 people or 9.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 680 people in total or 41.5% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Port Noarlunga South employed 18.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.1% in Education and Training; and 7.3% in Public Administration and Safety.
