Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Christies Beach in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (504 people or 18.7%)
  • Construction (327 people or 12.2%)
  • Retail Trade (273 people or 10.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,104 people in total or 41.0% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Huntfield Heights employed 19.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.7% in Construction; and 12.7% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Christies Beach and Huntfield Heights were:
