Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Hills North District in 2016 compared to the City of Onkaparinga shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 43.1% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 6.0% were one-parent families, compared with 29.4% and 12.7% respectively for the City of Onkaparinga.
