Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Christies Beach in 2011 compared to the City of Onkaparinga shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 20.4% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 14.9% were one-parent families, compared with 30.9% and 12.4% respectively for the City of Onkaparinga.
