Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Northern Beaches Council area in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (22,483 females or 33.7%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (12,759 females or 19.1%)
  • Managers (11,591 females or 17.4%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 46,833 females in total or 70.2% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Greater Sydney employed 32.3% in Professionals; 20.6% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 12.7% in Managers.
