The size of the Northern Beaches Council's labour force in low income households in 2021 was 3,052, of which 1,408 were employed part-time and 525 were full time workers.
Analysis of the employment status of people in low income households (as a percentage of the labour force) in the Northern Beaches Council in 2021 compared to Greater Sydney shows that there was a higher proportion of people in low income households in employment, and a lower proportion unemployed. Overall, 78.5% of the labour force was employed, and 21.5% unemployed, compared with 71.2% and 28.8% respectively for Greater Sydney.
