Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Warriewood in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (434 females or 21.0%)
- Education and Training (312 females or 15.1%)
- Retail Trade (242 females or 11.7%)
In combination, these three industries employed 988 females in total or 47.9% of the total employed female resident population.
In comparison, Narraweena employed 21.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.0% in Education and Training; and 13.7% in Retail Trade.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Warriewood and Narraweena were:
- A larger percentage of females employed in education and training (15.1% compared to 12.0%)
- A smaller percentage of females employed in retail trade (11.7% compared to 13.7%)
- A smaller percentage of females employed in administrative and support services (2.4% compared to 4.0%)

The number of employed females in Warriewood increased by 171 between 2016 and 2021.
The largest change in the jobs held by the female resident population between 2016 and 2021 in Warriewood was for those employed in:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (+64 females)
