Overall, 49.1% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 8.8% were one-parent families, compared with 48.9% and 9.3% respectively for North Manly.
There were a similar proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 16.0% compared to 15.8% in North Manly while the proportion of couples without children was 22.7% compared to 21.1% in North Manly.
