Dominant groups

Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Bilgola in 2021 compared to Northern Beaches Council area shows that 96.9% of the households owned at least one car, while 1.4% did not, compared with 90.3% and 6.4% respectively in Northern Beaches Council area.

Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion who owned just one car; a larger proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.

Overall, 21.2% of the households owned one car; 50.0% owned two cars; and 25.6% owned three cars or more, compared with 35.6%; 37.1% and 17.6% respectively for Northern Beaches Council area.
