Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Mount Helena in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (194 people or 11.9%)
  • Mining (166 people or 10.2%)
  • Construction (156 people or 9.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 516 people in total or 31.7% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the Shire of Mundaring employed 11.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.7% in Mining; and 9.1% in Construction.
