Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Shire of Mundaring in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,128 people or 11.5%)
  • Education and Training (1,849 people or 10.0%)
  • Construction (1,673 people or 9.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 5,650 people in total or 30.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Parkerville - Stoneville - Hovea employed 10.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.8% in Education and Training; and 10.3% in Construction.
