Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in HMAS Cerberus in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Public Administration and Safety (878 people or 94.0%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (14 people or 1.5%)
  • Education and Training (13 people or 1.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 905 people in total or 96.9% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Mornington Peninsula Shire employed 5.8% in Public Administration and Safety; 13.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 9.0% in Education and Training.
