Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Tyabb in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (221 females or 24.4%)
  • Education and Training (129 females or 14.2%)
  • Retail Trade (108 females or 11.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 458 females in total or 50.6% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Mornington Peninsula Shire employed 23.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.8% in Education and Training; and 12.3% in Retail Trade.
