Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Mount Martha in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,081 females or 22.7%)
  • Education and Training (754 females or 15.9%)
  • Retail Trade (541 females or 11.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,376 females in total or 50.0% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Mornington Peninsula Shire employed 23.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.8% in Education and Training; and 12.3% in Retail Trade.
