Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Mornington Peninsula Shire in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (9,328 males or 24.1%)
  • Manufacturing (3,490 males or 9.0%)
  • Retail Trade (3,063 males or 7.9%)

In comparison, Greater Melbourne employed 15.2% in Construction; 9.0% in Manufacturing; and 8.1% in Retail Trade.
