Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Rosebud in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (923 people or 16.0%)
  • Construction (863 people or 15.0%)
  • Retail Trade (721 people or 12.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,507 people in total or 43.5% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Portsea - Sorrento - Blairgowrie employed 8.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.8% in Construction; and 8.3% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Rosebud and Portsea - Sorrento - Blairgowrie were:
