Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Mount Eliza in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,257 people or 14.1%)
  • Construction (1,006 people or 11.3%)
  • Education and Training (969 people or 10.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 3,232 people in total or 36.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Baxter - Pearcedale employed 13.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 19.2% in Construction; and 7.5% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Mount Eliza and Baxter - Pearcedale were:
