Dominant groups

Analysis of individual income levels in Green Wedge in 2021 compared to Mornington Peninsula Shire shows that there was a higher proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 17.8% of the population earned a high income, and 29.1% earned a low income, compared with 12.1% and 32.1% respectively for Mornington Peninsula Shire.
