The size of Mornington Peninsula Shire's female labour force in 2021 was 38,227, of which 19,448 were employed part-time and 13,873 were full time workers.
Analysis of the female employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in Mornington Peninsula Shire in 2021 compared to Greater Melbourne shows that there was a higher proportion in employment, and a lower proportion unemployed. Overall, 96.8% of the female labour force was employed, and 3.2% unemployed, compared with 94.8% and 5.2% respectively for Greater Melbourne.
